Macintosh Help!

Post by Sanni » Thu Apr 22, 2004 7:23 am

I'm trying to make a music video from a Macintosh computer (I know, please shoot me now) and all I have to work with is Imovie... which apparently doesn't accept any imported formats other than from a digital camera, or images. Avi or Mpeg is out of the question, and I have no way of converting my video into anything else.... not to my knowledge anyway.

So... I need a program that I could download a free trial of, that is for the Macintosh computer, that will allow me to import and edit these video files. Or some way to convert the video to something else so I could edit it in Imovie.

I went to the Adobe website and Premier Pro is only available to download for Windows... other than that I don't know any other software that I could use.

I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions, I'm really short on solutions.

Thank you, but I can't register anything to download this, since this is for my Digital Design class at school. Since this requires registration on their site prior to download, I don't have access to the software...

Do you know any other programs that I might be able to download for free without such a registration? Even a program that is a trial version so I can complete this project.
