New proggie to sync subs with audio

Post by ChristianHJW » Thu Feb 19, 2004 9:54 am

http://corecodec.org/projects/visualsubsync

Toff's latest creation, i thought i let you know. Does currently only work for SRTs, but you can sync those first and make SSA from them after the syncing stage ;) ....

Some screenshots of how the UI is looking like during operation are to be found on the homepage : http://visualsubsync.corecodec.org

Oh, i just forgot :

Nicest thing for you guys is probably the central timestamp server, allowing several people to work on the same file together ;) ....

I tried it out about 2 weeks back and found it rather cumbersome to use :|
SSA still works far better for quick and dirty timing (unless I just didn't give it enough time to get to know how to use it). Until it lets you time faster and easier than SSA I don't really see much reason to change :|
