CD ripping problems

Post by bubblehead » Fri Jan 23, 2004 8:21 pm

okay, so i have a song i want to rip off of the CD so I can use it in an AMV. I opened up my CD ripping program and tried to get it to rip to a .wav file. It didn't work, although the program thought it did. I believe I have encountered a "corrupt CD", or a CD which cannot (at least under normal circumstances) be ripped. Is there a way to get around this?

I fixed the problem by copying it to a wma file through windows media player, and then using my cd ripping program to turn it into a wave file, because that seems to be the preferred format. ^^ *dances* it worked!
