Ripping the DVD audio with the video.

Post by Yuna » Tue Oct 28, 2003 1:15 pm

I've figured out how to rip DVDs by means of DVD Decrypter and DVD to AVI, but how do I get the audio files to go with it? There are so many different options involving codecs and things that I just don't know what to do.

Heya, here's a little guide on getting the audio off the DVD. Good luck!

When you make a d2v file in DVD2AVI, go up to the Audio portion of the menu. From there, go to Track Number. You'll most likely have it one None. Defaultly, Track 1 is English and Track 2 is Japanese. It'll save as a ac3 file, and you'll probably have to convert it to use it. The guides can tell you all about that too.
