time lap for dvds

Okay i ran into a small problem, let me start from the beginning. I wrote down all the scenes i want for my AMV. ( about 5 pages worth )
I.E Eps 7 ( 2:06:02 character with a nice backround ) however it takes more time to reach for this footage when i rip it. Because the time lap restarts it self to 00:00:00. Does anyone know any dvd program that i may download so i have the option to restart the time-lap as i want? thanks
