XVID logo thingie

Post by AznRAVEr1022 » Wed May 14, 2003 8:36 pm

i keep getting this annoying logo in the bottom right hand corner of my vids when i encode with XVID. is there anyway of getting rid of this, or is there another XVID install that won't give me this logo?

It sounds like your stuff is being decoded by the DivX dshow filter. I would try to check out your playback properties. Try installing ffdshow or the standalone playback xvid dshow filter.

divx 5.03 - 5.05's directshow decoder puts the stupid divx logo over the video on playback unless you go into properties and tick 'don't display logo'

If your xvid encode has the FourCC "DIVX" then it will be played back with the divx decoder which has this logo unless you deselect it in properties like everyone else has said.
