Post by AznRAVEr1022 » Tue Apr 15, 2003 11:38 pm

let's i have an MPEG clip from Bedazzled... and i want to get rid of the audio that only includes the voices of the characters but not any other sounds (such as gunshots and cars blah blah). is there any way to do that?

It's possible but tricky.

If the movie is DD5.1 and the voices all happen to be in the centre channel and the other sounds are in the other channels then you can extract the audio of just that one channel.

Otherwise, it's incredibly difficult to do.

In the guide there is a section on extractin audio from movies. The program besweet can extract each channel to a wav file (the six wavs output option)

There is still a good chance, however, that the centre channel will have more than just the sppech though.
