Quasi-Newb needs help getting rid of sound >.<
Okay, so I had made this video, saved it, and it was all good. But now I want to use part of it in a new video, and I don't know what happened to the original. How do I get rid of the music and sound using premire 6.0 or any other free-trial proggie?

load the clip up into premiere, put it in the timeline, lock the video track and delete the audio. Then, seeing as i dont think u can export with premiere tryout, preview it. if its one file you are using, the preview AVI file will be stored in the default folder (i think its HARD DRIVE LETTER:\My Documents\Adobe\Premiere\Project Archive or something like that)
(now i dont know if thisl work so, )
Rename and move the preview file so it isnt deleted when you close. You should be able to use that new file now.

Get VirtualDub Its free =) DL it from http://www.doom9.org
Open it up and load your movie. Go to the video drop down menu and select direct stream copy, under processing settings. Then go to the audio drop down menu and select no audio, under processing settings. Then hit F7, or go to File> Save as .avi. Thats it you get movie stripped of the sound. =0) Fell free to PM me if you have a question.
Cheers!
