I say go try it out. www.winrar.com I believe.....or www.rar.com, can't remember. Just right click a file after you've installed winrar and then goto add to archive. Then there will be a box to the bottom left that lets you specify volume size. I normally do 10 mbs so you put in 10000000. Play with options if you want, I leave it on normal compression then hit enter. Depending on the file size it'll take a minute or two. Then all the separate files together equal the same size as the original file.

and I guess I better say a few things
I don't officially support taking footage from other's amvs, however, in reality it isn't any different from taking footage offline
that spoken, I don't agree with using downloaded footage of any kind *if* you can get it somewhere else. Let it be a last resort. Like if you're using a series not released yet or are young and have no source of income or etc.
Well, even if it hasn't been released here, you could always spend $60 US or so and buy the R2 DVDs or the LDs, but for a 28 DVD series like Yuu Yuu Hakusho, it'd be a hell of a lot of money for 60 bucks a pop.

Dammit...someone had to come and ressurect this scar of a topic...
Well, now that I'm on my third AMV and doing some little ones that are under a minute, I look back on my first AMV and realize it was utter crap. I'd just like to call it a "test piece". Just ignore everything I said earlier in this thread. It's ancient.
ARG! GET RID OF THIS THREAD!
