Which deinterlacing method should I use?

I've been dealing with something similar with Outlaw Star. The Decomb plugin and IVTC simply wasnt doing it for me. After messing around with some scripts for a while.. the best results I got were by using
LoadTDeint()
TDeint(mode=1,order=1)
BlendBob()
*mode and order would depend on your source/s*

That cleared all of dienterlacing (havnt fully checked everything im working with entire series but I havnt seen any as of yet) and blending. But yea.. to restate what everyone else has said .. it depends on what works best from your tinkering and how you want to work with the video. BlendBob keeps left the footage I have at 29.97 FPS

Thanks, if I have any more problems I'll try that. I went ahead and just picked on, I think it was kernaldeinterlace or something like that. Right now I'm having problems getting my .avi file onto WMM2...(see sig)
Working on my first AMV! Any help is greatly appreciated.

woo .. nice work. it did alright for me.. but left me with a lot of blending
