That has to be one of the most amusing derivatives of my name I've seen yet. :)

Well, the easiest way to do that is to make a title card image in Photoshop, PSP, The GIMP, MS Paint, or whatever your image editor of choice is, and then stick it in your project at the beginning or end (you may find it advantageous to add fades in/out as well). Or you could make a separate project file for the credits if you want.

cooly. Also in premiere, when i hit enter to render it to preview. it is still laggy when im watching it. is that because its uncompressed? i thought rendering did it for you. i need to view it clearly so i can time it right.

The previews are made using whatever codec you specified in the project options. Unfortunately, Premiere Pro doesn't let you change the preview codec in the middle of a project (though 5.1 does; don't know about 6). If you selected uncompressed or HuffYUV for your previews, then they're likely to lag. EADFAG suggests an MJPEG codec set to a relatively low quality.

Another thing Premiere Pro will let you do is change the quality from "automatic" or "full" to "draft quality", which makes previews at 50% instead of 100%, making things somewhat faster.

Another thing Premiere Pro WON'T let you do is preview any sections that it thinks it can play back at the full frame rate (even if it can't) (= anywhere that doesn't have a red bar at the top of the timeline), which in my opinion is quite a shortcoming, and I don't know why they changed it to be that way.

Sure, you'll just have to do everything over again. I've found that the PICVideo MJPEG codec works pretty well, apart from putting a slight watermark on everything you render (unless you buy the full version).

In Premiere Pro, right-click on the preview window (the one on the right, I can't remember the exact term) and the quality options are on the menu.

You might be on one of the presets. Select "Custom".

Of course, you have to do this right as you are initially making the new project file.
