DVD's on Paper

Steven King's 'The Stand' was one of the first DVD releases to use a single DVD-18 disk, they're unpopular because they have four data surfaces, thusly they have the lowest yeild during production. (Translation: A lotta shiny coasters)

Anyways, I guess this is probably better than the idea of having discs whose top layer of plastic corrodes after a day or two of exposure to air.
