Grr... I would give my right foot for Premiere to support SWF importing ;_; Would make things SO convenient!! And then if they could somehow be used as masks? *siiiigh...*

Well, can't you export your flash files in video format? I'm sure if you really wanted to, you could find a way to get .swf into a video editing program.
Another pointless post!

Yes you can export to AVI. But, if I could cut out the middle-man (ie; the giant Huffyuv file of my Flash that I just want to use as a mask in a video project) that'd be so helpful :)

Bumping this with new information...

Sony posted a detailed description of the new features in Vegas 5. It's a 63-page PDF publication and goes through each one in step by step tutorials.

You can find it here, click the "New Feature Series" at the lower right:
http://mediasoftware.sonypictures.com/P ... sp?PID=914

(They have similar publications for their other new products.0

The Vegas 5 manual is also online.

And now I see that Zarxrax already posted that link.
I should read more carefully.

In any event, it'll be interesting to see if Vegas' new Bezier masks can be used to cut moving characters out of video...and how easy it will be.

If the bezier masks work anything like in After Effect's they should do just nicely. I would hope it also supports non-bezier too though. Was that already there previously?
