If you get 23.976 progressive <s>knives</s> footage that looks good, then they're probably as correct as you'll get. Looking at VDubMod now, I can't think of any settings that would work better, but I've never done it that way myself.

no see, thats what the half life engine is called. its not called "half life engine" , its called lithtech, and thier using version 2 of it for half life 2

Bum you're retarded, Lithtech was made by Cliff B, who is someone totally different from Gabe Newell and his budy. They made HL from the Quake1 engine, with like 50 lines from the Quake2 engine and a bunch of customer code.

Half-life 2 is based off of the Source engine, which is an inhouse engine developed by Valve using add-ins such as Havok's physics model and some other stuff.

Quake3 is it's own engine, it is not lithtech.

If I'm remembering correctly, the Lithtech engine was used for Shogo, way back when... It was developed by Monolith Entertainment. (I think I remember the old "Lithtech Engine" logo.)

I always thought Half-Life just used the Quake 1 engine...

I know Lithtech as the engine that is used for Alien vs. Predator 2 and not much else. Isn't it called Jupiter now?

And Quake III powers everything: Alice (goddamn that game is fcked up), Elite Force, Elite Force 2, Wolfenstein 2, MOHAA, Jedi Knight 2... everything except Unreal, that is. Unreal engine rocks.

My bad :p, CliffyB is from Unreal... Not lithtech...

Just they both get bad press on SomethingAweful so I thought, must be similar. Sheesh, lowtax doesn't have much to pick on Cliffy for now, the Unreal engine is pretty nice. Maybe it was his clothing he was picking on... I dunno...
