OGG has its own "Direct Show" process which will over-ride MicroSoft's DirectX.
- .oga ( audio ) .ogm ( multi-Audio and a Video and multi-Subtitles )
Uh, no. There's an Ogg Directshow filter, but that's about it. It overrides nothing, except previous Ogg filters.

(( this means, if you want the Video, no Audio will come with it! ))
That explains the audio in my Ogg media files.

Er...no wait, it doesn't.

Uh, that's any container in a nutshell. Ogg, AVI, VOBs, MPEG-4 containers, Matroska.

Before you make statements about something, you should do your research to see if your statements are actually true. Or at least qualify your statements with "as far as I know" or similar cautions. Otherwise you create a sense of authority that could very well be false and mislead people.

Also, we have search engines for a reason. If you Google "matroska tools" then the the first link is the site I pointed you to.

... just a quick note that Mosu has vobsub subtitles directly from the DVD working in MKV now, anybody interested in testing that can contact us on IRC.corecodec.com #matroska for a link to the alpha mkvmerge.

Unfortunately, Gabest is very active with a job and we dont know until when he can update matroskasplitter.ax and vsfilter.dll, so it will work with any DirectShow player .....
