VirtualDubMod Error

I tired opening VDubMod and I got this message

Runtime Error!

Program: C\Program Files\AMVApp\VirtualDubMod\WirtualDubMod.exe

abnormal program termination

I did get it to run at one point and when I closed it and opened it again, this is what I got. I uninstalled it, updated using the VirtualDumMod_1_5_10_2_All_inclusive download and nothing helped. Any ideas?

when I got that error (or a similar one) it was because I had more than one version of masktools in my avisynth plugins directory.

Deleted the one masktools.dll file and still nothing.

do you have any other plugins that may have duplicates?

The only ones I've installed have been TIVTC and VFAPIConv along with the newest DGmpgDec148, but I overwrote the old DGmpgDec. Aside from the masktools I deleted, everything that came with the AMV app is there.
