audio help using windows movie maker

ok basically im making an amv where i want the character from the clip to say a phrase and then rite after i want the music to kick in without hearing the clip's audio in the background, is there anyway to do this?

wou have to extract the audio from the ep. And edit with the audio directly in the music timeline. Or you could use something like audacity for audio editing.


I dont think you can decide when you want to us the aduio in the timeline or the adio from the clip

No, you can't. In WMM, you set a proportion between clip audio and external audio (only 1 layer, mind) and you have to stik with that for the whole project.

So, yeah, use Audacity.

windows movie maker has a built in audio editor, so you don't need to use audacity.

to extract audio from your anime video clip, place the video clip on the timeline. then click the + button next to the video layer, which should expand the audio layer of the video. you can drag the audio under the video clip you want to the "audio/music" layer, and place it where you want relative to your music.

but if you're an audiophile and want to maximize the quality of your audio, you can do the audio editing in audacity and compress with mp3 rather than being restricted to wma in windows movie maker.
