Mixed sources? o.O

Post by DJ_Izumi » Thu Oct 12, 2006 5:16 pm

I'm working on an AMV that uses multiple anime sources but I realized I have one little program. One series is 29.97fps progressive while the rest would need to be telecined down to 23.967fps to be progressive.

What would be the best tactic to get a uniform frame rate while retaining progressiveness...? o.o

Can't you just speed up the 23.967 Progressive footage to 29.97 using AssumeFPS or slow the 29.97 to 24 and speed up the 23.97 to 24. That's what I always do with no problems except for having sped up footage. I may be wrong about this so someone more experienced check me on this. I don't want to give bad info.

I'd just speed up the 23.976 with AssumeFPS, yeah.
