compressing amvs?

heya all.. yet another newbie here *wavles*

My first amv is far from finished but after doing a few "testers" I have noticed that the file size is a bit big.

What programs do you recommend for compressing amvs for easier downloading (nobody wants to be downloading a 1GB+ file )?

I'm currently using Adobe Premier - are there any particular settings on this program which will make the finished piece a bit smaller filesize?

If your using a verion of Premiere 5 or 6

If your using a version of Premiere Pro

But just on the sideline you should not post this kind of stuff here but in the video help section or just look up the guides =)
