In a scene how do I get to put a jpeg image on it?

import it like you would any other media

oh no not that. I mean put two different medias together. Like in a 5 second scene of animation I can insert a jpeg picture in the middle, overlaying the scene.

If you're using Vegas Movie Studio, put the background clip on the main track and the pic on the track above it. Drop the cookie cutter FX on the top pic. Bring the size down to about 0.2 to start. Then experiment with the controls.

No I have 6.0 but I did try that two track thing you suggested. IT WORKED!!!!! Thank you so much ^^
