Okay so I have iMovie ... now how to import music & vide

I've never actually made any music videos in my life, but I've been an avid fan for years and numerous ideas are buzzing in my head. I have iMovies which I know I could use to make something, but I have no idea what I could / should use to import music and video. I assume you could just pull songs from iTunes but I have no idea how to get any video in there. Any suggestions?

I know that when you open the program there is a tab in the box over to the right that says Audio. In there click the pulldown menu and one of the options is iTunes Library. Select it and theres all you audio in iTunes. As for video, if I remember correctly there is a import function in the File pulldown menu.

If you have not already you should check out the iMovie guide. If you have newest version of iMovie then this will be alittle out dated for you, but you should be able to get the idea.
