Any Recommended Programs?

I was wondering, does anyone know of a good program that works well with AMV's? I'm new and I'd like some advice before I start.

what ammuses me is that i have seen their screenname pop up in the forum, yet has neglected to answer MY question...

do they want a program to EDIT amvs? or to PLAY amvs?

the 12 step program just might be the one for them since they cant seem to respond.
