Subtitles In premier

Post by |_ShADoW_| » Fri Oct 14, 2005 4:01 pm

Hey guys, I want to add cool subtitles to my AMV, I'm doing everything in premier, but i don't know how to put on some subtitles with it... Does it requires some plug in? if so, wich one?

Thanks for the help, and I hope my topic is on the right section...

There are alot of programs that can do subtitles well, unfortuantly I don't know any, lol.

But I do know that in priemere, you can go to File > New > Title.

And create induvidual title files. Save them and if your using P 6 or less, Import them into your project, you can put them over other video tracks.

Other ways:

1) if you have photoshop, you can make a layered file and import each layer separately. That's what I did for This video. While it isn't the greatest video in the world, the technique works.

2) you can use the built in title function in Premiere

3) you can find one of the many subtitle programs out there and do it separately.

4) Here is another thread on subtitles

if you search, you should find lots of other threads that cover pretty much the same ground.
