I have a question involving this image.

I want to replace what is showing on the laptop with another clip. Now I heard you can use Adobe After Effects or/and Photoshop to do this? I have both. But what do you do exactly? Just cut out the clip to fit the laptop size or what? I would really appreciate some help on this one, I have been wanting to know for awhile. Thanks.
