Premiere Pro 1.5 audio cutting in and out

When i preview my video in Premiere, my audio will play to a certain point, cut out and be silent for a while and then cut back in play to another point, and cut back out, and when the video ends (i'm not done w/ the AMV) the audio will not cut out till the end of the song. i tried rendering the work bar, but it doesn't seem to be working using the HuffYUV codec.

i forgot to mention that if i start playback directly before or on the cut out point it will play at least most of the part that usually cuts out. this seemed to start happening when i started slowing down and speeding up clips, but even if i import the file after i put down the video, it still does it. it's not always in the same spots, but it seems to be where i change the length of the clip.

hmmm. i guess i found the solution... if i change the output on the sequence to draft quality or even high quality the audio plays correctly... hmmm... weird.
