A Simple Question

I hope I'm posting this in the right section. If I am not, I'm sorry. I'm making, more like trying to make a AMV in Windows Movie Maker and I have a problem. My question is, how do you mute the talking/background music? When I play my vid, my song can be heard, but there is also talking and background music from the clips. Can someone help me? Thank you. Oh, if anyone knows a good website for tips on how to make AMV in Movie Maker, I would be most happy if you could give me the link. Thanks again.

There is a little row of icons to the right just above your video track. Click the one all the way to the right and drag the tab to "Audio from Video." That should take care of the audio problem.
