Compressing live-action DV video for distribution

Post by dokool » Wed Dec 15, 2004 11:21 pm

How do you guys go about this? I have a few projects I want to get online, but it's been so long since I put anything but my AMVs online that I have no idea what the best way to compress stuff I've shot on camera is.

I've compressed a lot of DV camcorder footage (live action), but all I've done is run the files through TMPGEnc for MPEG1 (sometimes MPEG2). I don't know if that's the best way. It works well enough.
