Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'PIM1" (unknown).
VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Plaer, are not suitable. Only 'Direct stream copy' is available for this video.

Another problem of mine is that when I try to play some of the .avi file I have I get something saying:
Some of the streams in this movie are in an unsupported format.
I got help and downloaded DivX 5.2.1, but it still doesn't play. Also, this is what the help site said:
If anyone could help, I'd be grateful, thanks. You are attempting to playback an AVI file that has an unsupported audio or video format.
AVI files can contain audio and video in many different formats. If RealPlayer can play only a portion of the selected file, this warning is displayed and the supported portion of the file continues to play. The purpose of this warning is to notify you that only part of the requested file is playing back (for example, just the audio or just the video, but not both).
This normally happens when your system does not have the required codec installed to play back the audio or video portion of the file. (Codec stands for compression/decompression. A codec is a program that compresses a file to save space, then decompresses it for viewing.)
If you are having problems viewing the video portion of your file, it is most likely using the DivX codec. Although other video codecs can cause the warning, DivX is the most common.
To get the latest DivX codec, please go to the DivX Player page and download the latest DivX application from their site.
