Recording from Online Games like EQ?

I know there is Fraps which records what your seeing on your computer when your playing a game into avi format.

Is there anything else or anyway to record or output the video from your game so it can be used in a video that isn't a cut scene? I have a ATI AIW 9800 Pro so I thought there was a way to loop the video back into the system but couldn't remember.

um, seeing as fraps works prety perfectly, i aint see a reason why ya'd need anything els

Right now because I can't budget it in for another couple months and hoping there was a free way to do it with just as good quality.

to be franc, nope, thier isnt. but then again, its a prety inexpensive program (its only US$29 , not much more than a dvd). but if ya want, ya can allways get the free version of fraps ( http://www.fraps.com/downloads.htm ) , though 2.X is a major step up from 1.X
