editing off a disk
wow, 2 posts in one day. ok. i downloaded all the footage im going to use onto a disk so i can put it on another computer and edit there, but then i thought, hey, why take up extra space when i can just edit off the disk! well, as you probably guessed, its going REALLY SLOW! but the clips are getting the source off the disk and i dont feel like re-imputing them into WMM. is there a way i can redirect them or watever?

if you copy them to your hard drive, and take out the disk, click on one of the wmm clips and wmm will ask you where the source video file is. click browse, and find the file you copied to your hard drive.
