Exporting Problems

Post by Hephaestus » Sat May 01, 2004 6:50 pm

So, I've finished editing my latest video and I go to export it. All the settings are the same as my project settings. I get to about a third to halfway through the exporting process and then Adobe Premiere Pro closes. No error messages or anything, it just closes. Any ideas?

Try exporting in parts, using the work area bar.

I had this exact same problem when exporting DV:UI, and I noticed that it always conked out at the exact same spot. So I exported from the beginning to somewhere before that spot, then from where part 1 ended to somewhere before the next trouble spot, and so on until I had the whole thing exported.

As a result, the video currently sits on my hard drive in the form of 6 different HuffYUV AVIs that need to be strung together in AVISynth before I can do anything else with it.

are you using avisynth files in your timeline? I had a similar issue until someone on here advised me to add SetMemoryMax(10) to the top of each avisynth script. that solved the problem for me, and other than premiere's usual crashing everyone ten minutes, it exports just fine.

That worked great, thanks for the help!
