Audio Ripping Conundrum

Alrighty,

This doesn't have to do with an AMV or anything, but I thought this would probably be the best place to ask. I'm trying to rip the audio from an avi file that is in a weird compression (WMV4 I believe it said when I tried importing it into VDMod). Yeah it's a fansub, but once again, I don't need it for video, I'm just looking for the audio. Is there any program that will convert avi to wav or mp3? I've tried TMPGEnc, VirtualDub, VDMod, Premiere, DVD2AVI, TooLAME, and dbPowerAmp. None of them will read this file.

Any help would be appriciated.
