Fishy MBS??
ok i just got done encoding an avi file from vegas video. i originaly had the avi file i encoded as mpeg 1 to avi which i used videowave 4. i had to edit a video i thought i had completly done. this is where i encountered the problem in vegas. i imported my avi file which was originaly encoded as mpeg into vegas. i edited the little tiny spots i needed then i encoded back to avi. usualy im expecting some big ass GBS but instead i get 3.76 MBS of high quality video. thats what it says when im playing it in the windows media player but get this it still says at least 1 GB of on the storage space. has any one encountered a problem like this in vegas? im just trying to wonder why it says MBS in the media player and GBS on the storage. meh doesnt really bother me ill have to encode it to a smaller size anyways.

windows does the strangest things. usualy when you watch the video in the media player if you point the cursor to the title of your vid in the right hand corner it should say what it is.Zarxrax wrote:Where does windows media player say a filesize? Anyway, if the file is actually something gigs large, you probably don't need to worry, probly just some weird windows thing.

doesnt really matter now. what was really weird was that i put the same avi back into vegas edited it again then exported into avi and it came out to normal GBS as shown on the media player and storage. hmmm i just thought this was really weird.bum wrote:you probaly encoded the avi at 3.76MB/s , well thats the only thing i can think off
