audio compression

if u have a huge audio file to work w/ (the one im talking about is over 70 MB b/c i converted it from mp3 o.o) anyway, u can compress it on nandub. but then, the video comes out huge. if i used virtualdub, it will compress my video, but the audio will be huge. so, the question is, is there a program i can use to compress audio only or one that i can use to equally compress audio and video?

You can compress the audio in VirtualDub and have the size be small.All you do is select audio at the top bar(its right between video and options) then go down to full processing mode click that and then some other things will be highlighted in the audio menu.Such as Compression from that you can select any format to compress to.
