DVD Resolution Limit

Yeah, I solved the mystery.

I knew a guy who was ripping Cool Devices to XviD.
He was making them 1024X768.
When I asked him why he was doing this, he said the following:

"OMFG U IDIOT, THE CLOSER THE RES IS TO UR DESKTOP RES THE BETTER IT LOOKS"

Yea, I saw the 800x600 one now, and once again, the encoder had no f'ing clue what he was doing. It looks upsized to me. And its also had some really weird shit done to it to make it look strange O.o

Congratulations, NME, you've beaten me. I thought I knew the stupidest person on earth (one who a.doesn't know why a 5 meg file wont fit on a 1.44 meg floppy b.doesn't understand why a regular CD drive won't burn c.thinks 500 meg hard drives are huge.) but I'm pretty sure your guy takes the prize for assclown of the year. Next time you see/talk to him, tell him that he should wear his ass hat with pride.
