VirtualDub VS Lame mp3

Post by WilLoW :--) » Sun Oct 12, 2003 6:22 am

when encoding a mp3 into a video, VirtualDub corrects the desynch problem between mp3 and Wav files...
Should I uncheck this option when using Lame mp3, or do Lame mp3s have the same problem ?

In other words, does the Lame encoder correct itself the desynch problem ?

It should be unchecked otherwise it can cause problems with the lame acm encoder.

Emm...correction to my question...

unchecking the box ALLOWS VirtualDub to make a correction on mp3...

is it OK ?

I tried to check it (i.e. VirtualDub does not make any correction) and I experienced Desynch with the video...so...
I think the answer is still "uncheck" but I want to be sure as my question was not well formulated the first time...
