Prosumer Audio Tools

My buddy, the up and coming rapper would like me to do a video for him, but we have a couple problems. All the audio tools at our disposal only have the ability to have 4 audio tracks. Can anyone point us in the right direction to find something better?

This site has a huge database on auio software, many free, many not. you wanted >4 audio tracks, but i'm confused as to what you mean so i'm on able to pinpoint exactly waht you need.

Maybe you've already looked around this site, but if not, it also has an extensive list of multimedia/audio software, downloaded freewares and sharewares.
