Eeek! T_T Primiere crashed when slowing down Video at render

Post by post-it » Fri Sep 12, 2003 3:11 pm

This subject has been covered before but I can't seem to locate THIS particular
problem in Video rendering error's with the help guides nor help files.

I made a clip at 24 fps. saved it. now I went back to my original project.
The Video's before and after are also at 24 fps. The clip I made I now import.

What I want that home made file to do is have 2 seconds at 24 fps and within
the next 3 second to slowly/gradually become a Stopped/steady frame while
I fade into the next scene - and this is when it lock's up!

¿¡ Any idea's !?

more info:

the Video is already de-interlaced and does not wobble or distort.
I previews fine, and looks great; it just won't render to export without crashing!

What video codec are you using? Try using a single lossless codec for all your clips, otherwise premiere crashes (horribly) when you try to do any form of complex editing.
