I installed the PICvideo Codec that was mentioned in the Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides document. The next day I went to go look at some video clips that I had taken with my own digital camera, and now they all say PICvideo at the top, and www.jpg.com at the bottom. WTF, Why are those now there, I never ran any of these videos through anything, can I remove it?? God now a buncha that footage is ruined.
Please help me out with this.

Your digital camera uses mjpeg to store movies.
Picvideo is an mjpeg codec.
When you installed it, it made itself the default playback codec for mjpeg on your system.
You can either: a) uninstall it. b) pay for it or c) install a new mjpeg codec over the top of it.
I recommend a) then maybe c) if it really bothers you.

Erm, I just d/l'd it as well.... havn't used it yet. One question - if I use it to fast edit like it says in Ermac and your's guides, AD, will that logo thingy be on the final copy? like the final export from premiere? And is there any way to turn it off or something?
Oh...wait... it doesnt matter...teehee...just remembered that you have to do that AVS Switchout when you are done editing. Don't mind me....
