Nice question. :?

Encode it into a DVD Standard MPEG-2 file (16:9 or 4:3 depending on the source) then burn it to DVD using the DVD burning program of your choice. You will need a DVD burner of course. And they are pretty bloody expensive.

Maybe in crazy aussieland :P.

In the states here you can get a 4X DVD-R burner for as little as $134. Which is about $204AUD :P

VOB isn't a format. It's a container. Video OBject. It holds an MPEG-2 file.

Never ever heard of anything called avi2vob. Technically, VOB is MPEG-2 (at least thats what all the information on the subject tells ME, I could be wrong but I doubt it)
