Post by Grey Mountain » Thu Jul 10, 2003 1:16 pm

one more question...what's the difference if i chose YUV renderer or HuffyUV?

is YUV the ultimate choice? and where do i make it into YUV2 or is that automatic cause when i went to configure, it said YUV2 at the top!!!

or..... do i choose huffy? :?:

NDW is basically saying they're the same thing and it doesn't matter which one you use.

However, that does beg the question of why they show up separately.
Ask me about my secret stash of videos that can't be found anywhere anymore.

Because otherwise there would be 3 codecs listed as HuffYUV and people would get confused and think they've installed it wrong.

It needs to be registered a couple of times to replace the buggy msyuv.dll that was introduced with directx 8.
