Playback problem?

Playback problem?
I've only noticed this to occure in Mpeg2 files and Quicktime files. Upon first viewing, the file will run and play smoothly without any problems. But after close the player and reopen to view again, or restart the computer and then try to watch them, the play back isn't smooth, especially with Mpeg2 files were the picture then runs jerky.
