OK, I don't really care who it is that asks the/a question, I don't think such harsh responses are nearly necessary. Sheesh. Yes, this may not officially be a 'help' forum, but more often than not more general video help questions get put here, so it's easy to make the mistake. If a mod wants to move it, it would not be out of line, however.
Nick- there are a number of ways to remove the audio from your files. It's easiest to do it by simply not capturing it in the first place. Assuming this isn't an option, if you're using Premiere, you can simply unlink the Audio and Video (rigiht click on the clip on the timeline and select 'unlink audio and video') and then delete the video.
Otherwise, probably the easiest way is to use VirtualDub, which can be DL'd free (legally). Just do a quick search for it or go to doom9.org and grab it from there. You can open up your video file, select "Direct Stream Copy" under the Video menu and "No Audio" under the Audio and then "Save as AVI" and save it as whatever you want. VDub is a very useful program to have around otherwise as well, as is outlined in the guides. Good luck!
BTW, It's far from uncommon for us to as for more information about a problem or what you're trying to do- in many cases, there are many possible answers, and the more information we have the better we can figure out what the right answer to give likely is...

Well, at least you thanked people for the tipsNicolasWolfwood wrote:well thanks for all the great tips.
I don't need to tell anyone what kind of fucking software I'm using, just tell me what I could use to do it and I can get it. It's that fucking simple.
And so the fuck what if I spell the name a little differently.

I actually figured he was being sarcastic in the thanks, Roz, based on the rest of the post, though I could be wrong. And all told, can you blame him for the response? He just joined yesterday, and this was his first post. I'd likely be at least a bit taken aback and grumpy if my first post period, in addition a request for help, was met by such a response....Rozard wrote:Well, at least you thanked people for the tipsAlso, we're not making a comment about your name in particular (or the misspelling of it, whatever). What was being mentioned was another member of this site who's handle is NicholasDWolfwood. He is the immature ass, not you. Although you're shaping out to be one
