How do I take out the audio?
How do I take the audio out of a clip so I can use that clip in a video I am making?

right click the clip after you drag it in, then you unlock hte audio from the clip and delete it.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

cat, how do u know he's using Premiere?
wolf.. find and get VirtualDub from doom9. after you've downloaded it, start up VDub and go to File - Open video file... now locate ur clip (avi, mpeg, or whatever; then click to import it). then go to File - Save WAV... specify a filename for the audio, let Vdub run the process, and wait for it to finish. now u have a wav file which contains ur audio. this is the highly-preferred filetype for editing in Premiere with.. but if u wanna convert it to mp3 (for some reason), i suggest using dBpowerAMP Music Converter, which is available here. instructions for using (the very easy-to-use) dBpowerAMP are found in A&E's Guides.
or if ur editing in Premiere, i guess u could use cat's method.
