Original Japanese or US-dub DVDs better?

Aie, tis good. I don't like the added swearing though. If its not in there in the Japanese, it really shouldn't be there in the English. I know the Hellsing isn't exempt of swearing I just think I remember some swearing in there that wasn't in the subs.

Yeah, most of the swearing done by alexander anderson in the dub wasn't in his original lines... it bugs me for some reason... What I find funny, is in Ranma 1/2, Ranma is constantly swearing, but none of it got translated into the subs or dubs. You can catch it if you know a little japanese.

(Mysterious absence of the word extras)
Shoddly made box and DVD menus

Often these bootlegs are nothing more than VCDs being passed off as DVDs and are VASTLY inferior to their region 1 counterparts.

Well if illiteracy is the problem or the lack of net slang in subs, might I suggest english courses before attempting reading the native language of the United States.

"U CAN WATCH THE SHOW."

So you like dubs because it preserves the picture?
So why not worry about preserving the voices?

That's ok, what it preceeds in time it makes up for in that it trails in quality.

On second thought, we shouldn't hassle him for his lack of English skills. He says he lives in Ethiopia (I didn't know Ethiopia had Internet access...), and English is therefore most likely not his first language.
