[Sony Vegas 11 Pro] Worse quality after Youtube upload

Post by bowieee » Fri May 01, 2015 4:05 am

What's up guys,

My problem is the following...
When I render my AMV and watch it locally there's no problem whatsoever. All scenes run smoothly as they should be.
When watching after uploaded on Youtube however, there's specifically one scenes using fast cuts that goes haywire quality-wise.

Here's what it looks it: http://puu.sh/hqiXr/61bd672202.jpg
The weird thing is that it's only one black and white scene as far as I know.

Here are my render/project settings:

Part of the original material might be 24 fps footage.

I just don't understand where the problem is coming from. It must be Youtube's inability to work with my codec or ways of encoding right?

Anyway, thanks in advance for any help!

That is on YouTube's end, there's not a lot you can do a about it.
Software & Guides: AMVpack | AMV 101 | AviSynth 101 | VapourSynth 101
PixelBlended Studios: Website | Twitter | YouTube

Dont use vegas for compressing? Also can try to throw them a lossless version, don't think there's file size limit :P.
Still better than that MMO.
