so avisynth doesn't work with my computer and vista. Is there any way to install avisynth not using the amvapp installer? It's really quite annoying

from what I know the tests fail on vista but the application should still work...
are you sure it doesn't work?

vdubmod doesn't even open up, I've installed the amvapp and yes i am aware the tests fail. I had to d/l it seperately from sourceforge. Now it works, but I have no avisynth now
