If they don't lag, then perhaps they consist entirely of keyframes, or have more keyframes than normal.

How are you getting the files off of the game. I've done a video already and am in the process of another. Both are using videogame footage that i took straight off the games and they're in avi format. Admitadly i'm not the greatest person to talk to since i'm still new at it. (I don't know how to use any of the transitions or video effects at all in Premiere, i just do hundreds of clicks with the razor tool to make all my effects like repeats, etc.) But i've not had any real problems with videogame footage, that's my point so i'd like to know how you got the footage.

I get my videogame videos using a psmplay i think it's called. I forget haven't used it in a while. But i can use it to take the videos straight from the game.
