masters also requires the editor to have won an award to enter... pro does not (two people withdrew from masters when they realized this, as they were new editors and had not won anything)

at one point, there was a three way tie for best upbeat... then at other times there was up to 5 ties in the various categories.

the VAT is doing its own block of MEPs... this is something different for the video rooms last year (AWA 2010) I took over one of the video rooms from 1am until 8am... i did a bit of a presentation (it sucked, i was cranky), but then played hell and other amvs... and it pulled people our of the hall...
