On another side note, I just thought there might be a problem with the .d2v file.
Basically all I do is load them into the program and immediately save them into a .d2v file. If I'm supposed to be doing something more during this step I must have missed it.

your d2v might be invalid, try making it again and don't move the d2v file once it's been made I'll do just that. don't think I've moved it since I made it but I'll redo it. On a side note, Video recorded through the computer doesn't register in my editing program. Is there a way around that or did...

Trouble loading .avs file from AviSynth
I read one of the guides on the site. VicBond I believe. Anyway, I type out all the things in notepad as suggested and save the .avs file. Everytime I try and load it however, it gives me an error message in VD. It says the following: AviSynth open failure: (A bunch of letters and symbols I can't ty...

Problems loading footage into Adobe Premiere Elements
I think I might have an idea to the cause, but let me explain first. I rip the footage with DVD Dycrypter and then load it into Virtual Dub, I then procced to save it as an AVI file in one of the reccomended compression formats. After which, the file won't load into my program. It doesn't freeze or ...

Good to hear it's working this time. Never heard of Virtual dub randomly exporting bad stuff like that before, but since it seems to be working now, i guess it's all set. Well it still remains to be seen if my dvd rips with Dvdycrpter still work, I'll probably post with the results later. Thanks fo...

Strangely enough, when I take those AVI files that I could upload but wouldn't show the video, and put them into VirtualDub and export them as AVI with Lagarath Codec, they work just fine. I don't get that one. I'm going to try ripping my dvd's with DvDycrpter again and see if the Vob files exported...
